Body found after Melbourne house fire

Firefighters have found a body while searching a Melbourne home which has been extensively damaged by fire.

The body was found in debris in the burning home in Epping with police now trying to establish who it is, how they died and how the fire started, police said.

Firefighters arrived at the home on Lantern Close just before 10am on Tuesday and took about 45 minutes to control the blaze.
