Blaze damages Melbourne cafe

Fire has caused $150,000 damage to a cafe in Melbourne's north.
The blaze destroyed the front section of the second storey cafe, Beirut Nights, in Brunswick.
Several emergency calls were made after people saw thick, black smoke coming from the building around midnight.

The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes and neighbouring shops weren't affected.
The cause of the fire, while not believed to be suspicious, is as yet unknown.
