Black smoke billows from Geelong fire

Firefighters are battling an out-of-control fire at a warehouse in regional Victoria, with black smoke billowing from the building.

The CFA says there is no threat to the Geelong community, but people are advised to avoid the area.

Residents nearby are warned to stay indoors and close off all exterior doors, windows and vents, and ensure that all heating and cooling systems are turned off.
