Possible bikie links remain a police focus as they investigate a drive-by shooting and two tattoo parlour fires in Melbourne's southeast.

Six shots were fired into a house in Beaconsfield and a Seville tattoo parlour went up in flames early on Wednesday morning.

It is not known when the Lilydale parlour was set alight but police say both fires were deliberately lit.

They are investigating links to the Rebels bikie gang after the drive-by shooting victim, believed to be a Rebels member, refused to assist them.

"It was quite a few (shots) and it was in succession," resident Anton Bezuidenhout told Nine News on Wednesday following the Beaconsfield drive-by.

Detective Sergeant Mick Duke called on witnesses to any of the three incidents to contact police.

"At this stage we are treating them as separate fires but then we will look at them together and investigate whether there may be a link to the drive-by shooting," he told AAP on Wednesday.

Both tattoo parlours are also believed to have links to the Rebels.
