Three treated following Melbourne bar fire

Three people have been treated for minor smoke inhalation following a fire in a bar in Melbourne's central business district.

The fire, which took an hour to contain, spread from the kitchen of the China Bar, causing a damage bill expected to exceed $250,000, the Metropolitan Fire Brigade said.

Three people were treated before being allowed to leave the scene, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
