A disqualified probationary driver has been clocked by police driving at 90km/h over the speed limit through suburban Melbourne.
The driver, a 22-year-old Berwick man, was detected driving at 150km/h in a 60km/h zone in Cheltenham about 8pm on Monday, police say.
His car was impounded on the spot for 30 days and it's expected he will be charged on summons with driving whilst disqualified, exceeding the speed limit and other traffic offences.
