Baby boy fights for life after being injured

A nine-month-old baby boy has been critically injured at a home in Melbourne’s west.

Paramedics were called to the home early today and found the boy unconscious.

He was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

Police taped off the area surrounding the Fairhaven Boulevard home.

Neighbours told 9NEWS they heard a baby crying in the early hours of the morning.

Police are investigating.
