Autopsy into 'suspicious' death in Vic

Homicide detectives are awaiting the results of an autopsy as they investigate the suspicious death of a woman whose body was found at a Melbourne home.

Emergency services were notified of the discovery at View Street, St Albans about 9am on Sunday.

The woman is yet to be identified.

"The circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined but the death is being treated as suspicious at this stage," Victoria Police said in a statement on Sunday.
