Automatic guns seized in Melbourne raids
Police have seized automatic firearms and other weapons in raids across Melbourne's north and west as part of an investigation into a string of armed robberies.
Ten men are being questioned after being arrested in the 7am raids at 10 properties in Point Cook, Werribee, Wyndham Vale, Seabrook, Tarneit and Williamstown.
The raids follow the announcement last week of a $100,000 reward for information on an armed robbery in Sunbury on December 1.
A cash delivery car was robbed at gunpoint as it pulled up outside a McDonalds restaurant.
Police believe there may also be links to robberies of a Sunshine West factory, a cafe in Derrimut and an attempted armed robbery at a fast food restaurant on the Calder Freeway, in October.
