Meat-free pie from Victorian bakery named Australia's best for 2022
A meat-free pie from a Victorian bakery has come out on top at the 2022 Australia's Best Pie and Pastie Competition.
Found in Ocean Grove, the Rolling Pin Pies & Cakes bakery's winning pie contains three types of mushroom, herbs and a truffle filling wrapped in pastry crust.
The competition is the industry's only recognised national pie and pastie competition, held by the Baking Association of Australia.

It's the second year in a row the Rolling Pin Pies & Cakes bakery has taken out the top award.
Last year, the team took out the top spot with their surf and turf combination.
