Arrests over Melbourne burglaries

Two teens, one just 14, have been arrested over two aggravated burglaries in Melbourne's west.

The pair were arrested about 4am on Sunday in Airport West following a burglary on a Caroline Springs home on Saturday.

The 17-year-old Taylors Hill youth and younger boy from South Yarra will also be interviewed over an aggravated burglary in Taylors Lakes earlier on Sunday.

Police have escalated their response to aggravated burglaries and carjackings across the state via Operation Cosmas, with more than 75 arrests since it started in May.
