Arrests made over Geelong gang rape
Four men have been arrested over the brutal gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in Geelong.
Police say they have charged a 28-year-old man from Olinda and a 29-year-old man from Mt Evelyn with abduction and rape.
They've been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
A Harrisdale man, 31, has also been arrested in Western Australia and a Pimpama man, 20, has been arrested in Queensland.
Both remain in police custody and are being questioned.
CCTV footage of the incident released earlier showed the girl walking down a lane in St Albans Park with her 16-year-old male friend shortly before they were allegedly set upon by a group of drunk and violent men in the early hours of Sunday November 1.
The girl was raped near a park and then carried by the men to a nearby house where the sexual assault continued.
Her friend tried to prevent the attack but was allegedly punched and kicked to the ground.
The girl was found an hour later after knocking on the door of a house and pleading for help.
