An overnight siege at a Melbourne home has ended with the arrest of a man.
Police negotiated for more than 12 hours after a man apparently armed himself with a knife at a house in Essendon on Sunday night.
The man surrendered on Monday morning and was being interviewed, a police spokeswoman said.
