Another Melbourne teenager has been charged following Saturday's anti-terror raids over an alleged plot to attack police on Anzac Day.

The 18-year-old Hampton Park man, who was being held under a preventative detention order, was charged with conspiracy to commit a terrorist act last night.

He was one of five men arrested over the alleged Anzac Day plot.

He will appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a British teenager remains in custody this morning over links to the same alleged plot.

British counter-terrorism police arrested the 14-year-old overnight in Blackburn, north of Manchester.

They were allegedly tipped off by a series of online messages between him and the men arrested in the Melbourne terror raids over the weekend.
