Alleged sex offender faces 17 charges

A man has been charged with committing a range of indecent acts in Melbourne's northwest.

The 29-year-old man, from Melton West, has been charged with 17 offences including five counts of indecent acts in the presence of a child under 16.

All incidents are alleged to have occurred between 13 November and 7 December 2014, a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.

He has been bailed to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates Court on February 23.
