Accused Vic dangerous driver back in court

A Melbourne woman released on bail after she allegedly killed a father-of-three by dangerous driving is due back in court.

Tara Brennan, 27, of Altona Meadows, is facing a charge of dangerous driving causing death over the fatal crash in May.

She is accused of killing Alan Dunlop when she drove into another vehicle parked in the emergency lane of the Western Ring Road.

Brennan cried throughout her first court appearance earlier this year before being released on bail.

Mr Dunlop's family said at the time they were disgusted Brennan had been granted bail.

She is due to face a committal mention in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
