300 Vic drivers speeding in roadworks
AAP
More than 300 drivers have been caught speeding through roadworks on a stretch of Melbourne freeway in just one month.
About 100 of those lost their licence for driving at 25km/h above the speed limit, after police started focusing on the roadworks from January 15.
Road work is being done to widen the CityLink freeway through Melbourne's north, reducing the speed limit on the road from 100 km/h to 80 km/h.
