Three hundred evacuated in Melbourne hotel flooding

A central Melbourne hotel has evacuated more than 300 guests after malicious damage to a sprinkler head led to flooding.

The Flinders Station Hotel suffered flooding from its sixth floor down late on Tuesday night, with guests evacuated until the water flow could be stopped.

Guests will be rehoused in parts of the hotel unaffected by the water.
