25-year supervision ordered for Vic killer

A Victorian man found not guilty of murder due to mental impairment will remain in a secure psychiatric facility for 25 years.
Benedicto Bantilan Santianes, 27, was arrested last August over the death of Peter Julian Nielson, 59, who was found dead at his in home Warragul, about 100km southeast of Melbourne.
Santianes was on Wednesday ordered by Victorian Supreme Court Justice Terry Forrest to remain under supervision at the Thomas Embling secure forensic mental health hospital for 25 years.
