$10m for female-friendly changing rooms

Sports clubs across Victoria have been given $10 million to build changing rooms for women.

The Victorian government has allocated 10 per cent of its $100 million community sports fund to making sports facilities "female friendly" so that women do not have to use cars or temporary sheds to change.

Sport Minister John Eren says women's changing rooms are often rundown or non-existent, which is unfair to women who play sport.
