Vic police make appeal to ashes owner
AAP
Melbourne police have spent months investigating the case of an unclaimed urn.
Filled with cremated ashes and found on the roadside at Keilor Downs in February, efforts to return the purple vessel to its rightful owner have been unsuccessful.
After being found by a passer-by, no one has come forward to claim the urn and on Thursday police went public with their appeal.
