Vic man jailed over knife-point rape

A rapist who snatched a teenage girl from outside her Victorian home has been jailed for 10 years.
Shannon Leigh Aitken, 39, raped the 16-year-old girl at knifepoint after ambushing her outside her Hastings home on March 4, 2012.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of rape over the attack.

Aitken also pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual penetration of a child under 16, relating to separate incidents in 2000.
Victorian County Court Judge Gavan Meredith on Wednesday sentenced Aitken to 10 years jail with a minimum term of seven years and six months.
