Vic man charged over child sex assault

A man has been charged over the indecent assault of a seven-year-old girl in a northern Victorian supermarket.
The girl was with her mother and a younger sibling at the supermarket in the Victorian-NSW border town of Cobram on Easter Monday.
Cobram detectives have charged 24-year-old Samuel Boxsell of Cobram with one count of indecent act with a child under 16.

He appeared in an out-of-sessions court hearing on Tuesday night.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Shepparton Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
