Vic man charged after kids hurt in crash

A Victorian man has been charged after a collision that left four children injured.

The 46-year-old Tarneit man appeared in an out-of-sessions hearing on Wednesday on charges related to a crash in the rural-urban fringe suburb of Truganina on Tuesday afternoon.

A 10-year-old boy from Hoppers Crossing remains in a critical condition at the Royal Children's Hospital, police said.

The man has been charged with offences including dangerous driving and endangering life and was remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
