Veterans set to get greater support
AAP
A move to allow more Australian Defence Force personnel access to mental health care has received bipartisan support.
The 2016 budget bill, which passed parliament's lower house on Monday, extends the eligibility for certain conditions to all current, former and future members.
It also ensures veterans will continue to receive incapacity payments until they become eligible for the age pension, and interim compensation payments to eligible veterans before they receive superannuation benefits.
