Veteran flasher finally caught in Perth

A flasher who has allegedly been committing obscene acts around Perth for more than a decade has been arrested and charged by West Australian police.

The man is alleged to have approached homes at night and stood in front of windows or glass doors while committing an obscene act in full view of female occupants.

The first report was made to police in 2000.

On Thursday, Perth city detectives charged a 52-year-old man over the incident in 2000 and multiple incidents in 2012 and 2013.

He will face 17 counts of committing obscene acts in public, three counts of committing indecent acts in public, two counts of stealing, and counts of aggravated burglary, burglary and stealing.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court later this month.
