Google working to fix broken search that returns different results for Harris and Trump
Google has confirmed they are working to fix a glitch that showed different search results for "where can I vote for Harris" versus "where can I vote for Trump".
CNN reports that results for the Kamala Harris query returned a window to help searchers find a polling station, but the Donald Trump query displayed only news articles and no map.
The issue was quickly flagged on social media, including a post on X from shared owner Elon Musk.

The tweet by Musk has since went viral, with Google quick to respond.
"The 'where to vote' panel is triggering for some specific searches (because) Harris is also the name of a county in (Texas). Happens for 'Vance' too (because) it's also the name of a county," Google said on X.
The company said it was working on a fix, adding "very few people actually search for voting places this way".
