Uranium exports from Australia to India and the United Arab Emirates are poised to start.
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says exports to India for use in its power plants could start immediately following the signing of the Australia-India Nuclear Cooperation Agreement's administrative arrangements.
The government has also finalised an agreement with the UAE to supply uranium for its developing nuclear power program.
