University student threatened with knives during home invasion

A university student has spoken of his horrific ordeal during a terrifying home invasion in Melbourne’s west overnight.

Three offenders armed with knives threatened the man at his Albion home around 11.30pm yesterday before stealing wallets and fleeing in his car.

“They took our knives at the kitchen and put one to my neck,” he said TODAY.

“They asked me to unlock my phone and reset my phone. They just wanted me to be quiet and they warned me if I make any noise they’ll hurt me.”

The stolen vehicle was found crashed at Braybrook a short time later.

A 21-year-old has been arrested and two others remain on the run.
