A man has been charged with assault after his alleged victim was found unconscious in a Sydney street early Sunday.
Police launched an appeal for information after they found a 29-year-old man with serious head injuries lying on Aurora Drive in Tregear about 1.30am Sunday.

Paramedics took him to Westmead Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
A 26-year-old man handed himself into police about 9.30pm last night, and has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was refused bail and is expected to appear in the Mt Druitt Local Court today.
