Two public shootings in 20 minutes in Sydney overnight
Two public place shootings in Sydney's west overnight just 20 minutes apart have sparked a police investigation.
At about 1am, emergency services were called to a home on Bluegum Avenue in Prestons.
Police were told an unknown number of people had fired at least two shots at a home before leaving the scene in a car.

At about 1.20am, emergency services were then called to Greenway Drive, West Hoxton.
Police were told unknown people had fired at least two shots into the air at a roundabout, before driving away.
No injuries have been reported from either incident.
