Two police crashes in QLD and NSW
Three police cars have been involved in separate crashes in Queensland and NSW, in one case leaving an officer with a broken wrist.
A 27-year-old woman was charged with multiple offences, including drink driving, possession of dangerous drugs and serious assault police, after she allegedly reversed the ute she was driving into two police vehicles following a 20-minute pursuit in Brisbane on Thursday afternoon.
Separately in Bankstown, NSW, a police vehicle with its warning lights on collided with another car just before 11pm.
Police say the two cars were driving in the same direction in Yagoona when they crashed and the police car hit a power poll.
The 51-year-old man driving the other car was not hurt, but a 27-year-old senior constable suffered a broken bone in his hand and wrist.
