Two killed in Perth construction site accident

Two people have died after becoming trapped under a concrete slab at a Perth construction site. 

Paramedics were called to the scene on Goderich Street, East Perth, about 11.35am (WST).

Police also responded to reports of two people trapped under a large piece of concrete, WA Police said in a statement. 

The victims have since been confirmed dead, WA Police said. 

Worksafe officers are investigating and WA Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
