A man has been stabbed in a wild brawl on a major road involving two large groups in Sydney's south-west.
The melee took place between two service stations on the corner of Elizabeth Drive and Meadows Road in Mount Pritchard just before 4am.
It is believed up to 20 people from two groups were involved in the scuffle, which reportedly saw broken bottles used as weapons.
Debris, including broken glass and a man's shoe, were left scattered outside the Speedway and 7-Eleven stores and a large area was cordoned off by police.
A 24-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he remains in a serious but non-life threatening condition.
Two 18-year-old men were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A crime scene has been established and police investigations are continuing.
