The car's 67-year-old driver and his passenger, a 63-year-old woman, were killed at the scene.

Paramedics assessed the 30-year-old truck driver for minor injuries and took him to hospital for mandatory testing.

Police are investigating the crash, where a prime scene has been established, and will prepare a report for the coroner.
