Police search for tattooed man after two stabbed at Bass Hill McDonalds

Two men have been rushed to hospital following a daylight stabbing at Bass Hill.

Emergency services were called to the McDonalds on the Hume Highway about 3.35pm, and found two men suffering stab wounds.

A 28-year-old was slashed in the back, while a 26-year-old suffered wounds to his chest and face.

Both were taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are searching for a man of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

He is believed to be aged in his 20s, has multiple tattoos and was last seen wearing a black singlet.
