Two emus spotted running through the suburbs in Wollongong

Two emus have been spotted running through the streets of Wollongong's south.

The pair were photographed in residential streets in Farmborough Heights.

They had escaped from a farm in the hills outside Wollongong were caught by WIRES in a backyard.

Their owner Albert Taylor said they are very friendly and he just wants them back.

But he won't be able to do that until he gets the proper wildlife permit.
