Two children hit by taxi on highway

Two young siblings have been taken to hospital after they were hit by a taxi on Sydney’s North Shore.

Emergency crews were called to the Pacific Highway at Crows Nest following reports of a pedestrian crash about 11am.

The ten-year-old girl suffered a head injury while her six-year-old brother has grazes on his face.

The siblings were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

All lanes of the Pacific Highway have since been reopened, with traffic remaining heavy in the area.
