Two people arrested after siege outside pub in Geelong

Two people have been arrested after a siege situation in Moolap, Geelong.

Authorities were called to the Peninsula Hotel on the Bellarine Highway, Moolap, shortly before midday after reports of a firearm incident.

It's understood a man and a woman were arrested and taken into custody around 4pm.

Police remain at the scene.
