Twitter not just a leftie stronghold

Coalition and Labor-leaning voters are equally represented on Twitter and one fifth of users say the platform changed their intentions.

According to Twitter statistics, two thirds of all users are split equally between the coalition and the ALP.

The majority are currently undecided on how they will vote in the upcoming federal election but more than 20 per cent say information found on the micro-blogging site changed their voting intentions.
