Turtle takes on tiger shark off Western Australia's coast
A turtle's terrifying encounter with a hungry tiger shark has been captured off the coast of Ningaloo in Western Australia.
The unassuming sea reptile was paddling in the ocean as the shark approached and began to circle.
The startled turtle picked up speed and started to swim away but the ocean predator followed.

The sea reptile came off as the unlikely winner and even bit back.
The turtle eventually managed to swim away making it safely back to shore.
