Trump reminds everyone ‘nobody has more respect for women than me’

During the final presidential debate, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton brought up the numerous ways Donald Trump has retaliated against the women who have accused him of sexual assault.

“Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger,” Ms Clinton said.

“He goes after their dignity, their self-worth and I don’t think there is a woman anywhere who doesn’t know what that feels like.”

Mr Trump then used a familiar line, he has repeatedly used in defence of claims of sexual misconduct, saying “nobody has more respect for women that I do”.

Moderator Chris Wallace, of Fox news, asked the audience not to laugh.
