Driver dead after truck rolls onto its side and ploughs through a house

A truck driver has died after crashing into a house near Bathurst in New South Wales.
It’s believed the truck rolled on its side while travelling down a hill before sliding into the house at Denison Street in Sofala.
Emergency services were called to the street just after 11.30am today.
The truck driver died at the scene. His age is not yet known.
The house was destroyed in the crash however, no one was home at the time.
Officers from Chifley Local Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
