Truck and trailer rollover closes Melbourne's Monash Freeway

A truck rollover has closed all lanes of the Monash Freeway in Melbourne, creating major traffic delays east of the city.

The freeway has been closed inbound from Warrigal Road after the truck and its trailer rolled near the Church Street Bridge late this morning.

Motorists are being advised to exit the freeway as early as possible as significant delays build on the freeway.

Wellington Road, Ferntree Gully Road or Blackburn Road are suggested routes to reach Dandenong Road.

Drivers can then use Kings Way to reach the West Gate Freeway or the CBD.
