'Toolie' says sorry after allegedly attacking teen girl during Schoolies

An 18-year-old man accused of violently assaulting a teenage girl during end-of-school celebrations in South Australia has apologised for his actions.

Filip Manevski-Radin was caught on 9NEWS cameras allegedly attacking the girl during Victor Harbour’s Schoolies event in November.

At the time of the incident, the alleged victim was trying to break up a fight.

After being searched and questioned by officers at the scene, Mr Manevski-Radin protested his innocence.

"I’m pretty sober compared to what I usually am… I’m getting grief for something I didn’t do," he said at the time.

Today the accused said he was “apologetic” as he fronted court charged with assault and disorderly behaviour, describing his behaviour in November as “unacceptable”.

Despite telling 9NEWS he intends to plead guilty to charges, he is yet to formally enter a plea.

The case was adjourned after a short time this morning to allow Mr Manevski-Radin to seek legal advice.

His next court appearance is scheduled in two months’ time.
