Tony Jones celebrates 30 years with 9NEWS

9NEWS Melbourne reporter Tony Jones today celebrates 30 years with Channel 9.
Jones joined GTV Channel 9 in May 1986, making the move from news into sport.
Tony began reading weekend sports bulletins in 1988 and moved to weeknight sports presenting in 1990.

Over the past 30 years Jones has covered many of Australia's major sporting events.
