Today hosts live from NSW-Queensland border as cyclone approaches
Millions of Aussies are bracing for the impact of Cyclone Alfred, with the category two storm expected to hit the Queensland coast tomorrow.
The storm is around 325km east of Brisbane and 300km east of the Gold Coast and while it's currently travelling slowly, at just seven kilometres an hour, its damage potential could be catastrophic.
Families from Gympie to Ballina are on edge, with around four million people potentially in the firing line, depending on what Alfred decides to do once it reaches land.

"All of Brisbane, Logan and Moreton Bay are under emergency alerts, public transport in Brisbane has now shut down and three Airports are closed on the Gold Coast, Ballina and Coffs Harbour," Karl said.
"It's been a long night, an anxious wait and it continues, we have special team coverage right across the area for you this morning."
