'That's hitting security': Footy kicking competition goes awry
The Today Show hosts have kicked off a weekend of football Grand Finals with an epic "ball-off".
The hosts' footy kicking skills were put to the test, however not everything went to plan.
"That's hitting security," Today news reader Alex Cullen exclaimed after a shocker of a boot from host Karl Stefanovic.

Karl booted the ball at the security office in a shocker of a kick. Today
He teed up another in a bid to honour footy legend Michael O'Connor.
Yet again, with little luck.
"That was the boss's car you just hit," said Cullen.
The pair were tasked with kicking three AFL balls and three NRL balls.
After a quick drop-punt tutorial from Cullen, co-host Ally Langdon quickly took the lead.
And despite a thumper of a banana kick straight through the posts, Stefanovic was left at the back of the pack.

It wasn't until he had an NRL ball in front him that Stefanovic made it across the line.

AFL - Langdon 3:2
NRL - Stefanovic 3:2
In a post-match replay Stefanovic took aim at Langdon's form.
"Look at this, she's like a newly born baby giraffe," he said.
"Next week we might do something more up your alley, like knitting or something."
