Tim Davies 'flips out' during live weather cross

After some epic adventures overseas, Tim Davies was happy to be back on home soil, presenting the national weather from his hometown in Sydney's Sutherland Shire this morning.

The Today presenter was live at Flip Out Caringbah, a recently renovated staple of the Shire the kids have been loving these school holidays.

And being a big kid himself, Timmy made the most of the venue's facilities, including trampolines, climbing walls, a new wipe out challenge and Australia's first "air court".

"It is the final day of the school holidays here in NSW and Flip Out has been here for over 10 years, but it is all new here and they have done an incredible job transforming this place," Timmy said.

"I don't know where these kids get all this energy from, they have been bouncing since 5am and they are still going."

Timmy had a go on all the equipment and even after things got a bit sweaty, he saved the best until last, bringing out his inner parkour champion for an impressive jump sequence.

He flipped, he bounced and he flew through the air, overcommitting a little on his final jump, but coming away uninjured after spending the whole show bopping around.

"They've done a fabulous job really, of having so many activities for all the kids, the big kids included as well," he said.
