There's a brand-new Australian sketch show out, it's launching today, and it comes from the mind of two Bondi Hipsters.

From David Attenborough and climate change, to time travel paradoxes and manipulative pillows, no topic is too big or small for The Moth Effect.

Today entertainment presenter Brooke Boney caught up with Nick Boshier and stand-up comic Jazz Twemlow, revealing she makes a cameo in the series.

"I wanted to work with Jazz and how our minds melded we wanted to go big," Nick said.

"There are satirests in world we wanted to match and do something more broad in the sense when system stuff not necessarily local political news cycle stuff."

Nick went onto praise Brooke for a sketch she did about British broadcaster Sir David Attenborough.

Nick Boshier (bottom) went on to praise Brooke's performance.

"You're on our show and I don't have to sugar-coat my language or enthusiasm for what you've done," he said.

"I think we're the ones who come off worse, like I want to cut myself from the show now because everyone else is too good."
